Leading the New Trend, the Innovative Yizumi D-Speed 350 High Speed Precise Die-casting Machine Hit the Market

3C electronic products, 5G mobile phone in particular, are setting off a new round of manufacturing demand in the direction of “light, thin, and precise”.

Focusing on the upcoming demand for 3C electronic products and support to the large-scale commercialization of 5G mobile phones, Yizumi introduced an iterative model - D-Speed 350 high speed precise die-casting machine that can be adapted to more sophisticated, thin-walled aluminum alloy die castings, such as 4G/5G mobile phone mid-board, tablet mid-board and housing for other digital electronics.

Injection acceleration ≥70G

Precision thin-walled product can easily get blowholes if the cavity filling is low. To tackle this application pain point, Yizumi’s D-Speed 350 high speed precise die-casting machine raises the injection acceleration to ≥70G to ensure the filling speed of molten metal and allow the product in the cavity to have full discharge of air to prevent blowhole defects.

Max. air shot speed≥12m/s

In the injection process, the molten metal will cool down easily after entering the mold. At this time, the injection speed must be fast enough to fill the cavity quickly to avoid cold shut due to rapid cooling of thin-walled product in the mold. The maximum injection speed of Yizumi’s D-Speed 350 high speed precise die-casting machine is ≥12m/s, an increase of 50% compared to the previous models, ensuring to fill the cavity quickly.

Ensure the precision of the product thickness

While the innovation driven 3C products will have new models rolled out every year, the requirements for the product process and quality continuously rise. For example, the thickness tolerance of the 5G mobile phone mid-board has to stay within ±0.03mm. In order to ensure the precision of products, Yizumi’s D-Speed 350 high speed precise die-casting machine optimizes the clamping unit to improve the rigidity and stability of the mold closing, allowing the unit to have better force application while reducing molding flash. According to a customer’s actual production test, the production yield of 5G mobile phone mid-board made by Yizumi’s D-Speed 350 high speed precise die-casting machine exceeds 98%.

Adaptable to products of different sizes

In order to improve the cavity filling, Yizumi’s D-Speed 350 high speed precise die-casting machine offers the standard long barrel model and the optional short barrel model. Customers may choose the right barrel according to the size, area of their thin-walled product.
