The UN1850D1 two-platen injection molding machine with DIM technology enables long fiber direct injection molding process. Directly feeding long fibers during the plasticizing process for mixing (i.e. "one-step molding") allows personalization of fiber length, mixing ratio, and material combinations.

Highlights:

· Reduced fiber breakage. Long fibers bear less mechanical stress when fed into the plastic substrate in the screw metering section during plasticizing and reduce fiber breakage.
