Mr. Richard Yan emphasizes that YIZUMI will maintain its open and win-win cooperation attitude to build a synergetic innovative ecosystem. He encourages all YIZUMIers to be the backbone of this transformation driven by digital intelligence. In the future, we will use the festival as a platform to increase innovation investment, promote smarter and greener transformation, and provide insights and solutions to global manufacturing.
At the Keynote & Forum session:
Ms. Zou Hengqi, Digital Intelligent Manufacturing Committee Honorary Director and Fellow of China Society of Automotive Engineers, Technical Center Senior Expert of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and Editorial Board Vice Chairman of the Automobil Industrie, gives a speech titled "Development Path of Intelligent Equipment in the New Automotive Era". She analyzes trends and technical innovations in the automotive industry, pointing out that innovations in energy, information, and green technology are driving a profound industrial revolution. As changes advance, car manufacturing models and equipment demands shift. Her insights provide forward-looking and practical guidance for the smart equipment field in the auto industry.
Professor Peng Liming from Shanghai Jiao Tong University presents "Integrated Design and Automotive Applications of High-Toughness Magnesium Alloys". He says that global energy shortages and stricter low-carbon standards are driving the automotive industry toward full electrification. However, range anxiety in electric vehicles encourages lightweight technology. He next introduces a new kind of non-heat-treated, high-toughness magnesium alloy designed for large thin-wall castings. He also details the integrated design and mold manufacturing process of big HPDC (High-Pressure Die Casting) parts for car bodies and chassis, high density HPDC process parameters and component bench testing methods, and the current and future application of new magnesium alloy parts in EVs.
Professor Zhang Yun from Huazhong University of Science and Technology speaks on "Intelligent Technology for Material Molding". He explains that material molding influences both the form and performance of materials during processing, and intelligent technology is the key to improving the molding processes and equipment performance. He focuses on how AI, simulation, sensing, and data processing can be used to accurately design and control product shapes and material properties as they are processed.
Dr. Zhang Yuxiao of YIZUMI Research Center for Advanced Processing Technologies (Germany) gives a speech titled "Technological Progress and Trends in the European Automotive Industry". She discusses the fundamental transformations, progress and trends in Europe's automotive industry, covering materials, manufacturing techniques, and system integration. Her speech highlights how lightweight, electrification, and sustainability goals drive new material R&D and production processes. She illustrates how innovations are practically applied in European cars with the support of EU policies, and how engineering helps realize next-gen vehicles through case studies.
At the festival, many well-known experts and scholars take the stage to present advanced issues in cutting-edge technology. Each issue contains valuable insights, ranging from breakthroughs in intelligent equipment to the remarkable applications of new materials, and detailed analysis of advanced manufacturing processes. The presentations draw immense applause and lively responses from the crowd.
The festival will continue till July 22nd. For more details, please keep following YIZUMI on social media.
