YIZUMI Tech Webinar: Competitive Al / Mg Casting Technology

YIZUMI was recently invited by Mg & Al Casting Tech webinar focusing on two main fields ― Mg Thixomolding technology and YIZUMI’s LEAP real-time-closed-loop die casting technology. Industrial experts and engineers from India and around the world attended the attractive seminar.

During the ALUCAST webinar, Dr. Yuxiao Zhang from YIZUMI Germany highlighted how magnesium-thixomolding is shaping the next generation of lightweight components. Using an AZ91D “box” part and a UN1250MGII thixomolding machine, Dr. Zhang demonstrated how virtual and real casting trials can be systematically combined to establish a reliable process window. By applying statistical comparison methods, the study clarified the influence and limits of key parameters such as fraction solid, mold temperature, and injection speed. The results also showed how simulation can predict gating and design effects early in development. This integrated approach reduces risk, improves robustness, and accelerates the path toward more resource-efficient, sustainable magnesium component production.

In this ALUCAST webinar presentation, Mr. Stefan Fritsche, Deputy General Manager and CSO of YIZUMI Die Casting Division emphasized how real-time closed-loop control is redefining high-pressure die casting. He highlighted YIZUMI’s advanced system, which dynamically adjusts key parameters throughout the entire shot cycle to achieve optimal performance. This technology significantly reduces porosity, improves repeatability, and lowers scrap rates—delivering more consistent, higher-quality parts. Mr. Fritsche also explained how YIZUMI’s integrated control architecture and proprietary algorithms boost productivity while reducing downtime.
