Abstract: [AURORA Precision Plastic Co., Ltd. (AURORA) has partnered with YIZUMI since 2015. In 2024, YIZUMI supported Aurora’s expansion into Vietnam, helping establish a production line with consistent process capabilities and quality standards while accelerating production ramp-up.]
01.「The Beginning of a Partnership」
Founded in 2006, AURORA specializes in precision two-shot plastic components and molds for smart devices.
AURORA and YIZUMI began partnering together in 2015. Over the past decade, the cooperation has expanded from equipment supply to technical collaboration supporting production upgrades.
In 2024, AURORA established a new manufacturing factory in Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam, to support its global manufacturing strategy. The objective was to replicate the production capability of its Dongguan plant while serving international customers more efficiently.

02.「Replicating Manufacturing Capability」
Setting up a new factory involved more than relocating equipment. AURORA needed to establish the same production processes, product quality and operating efficiency in a different manufacturing environment.
The project also presented practical challenges, including a limited local technical workforce, higher operating costs and a less mature industrial supply chain.
Based on its long-term cooperation with AURORA, YIZUMI participated in the project from the early planning stage to support the transfer of manufacturing capability to the new factory.

03.「From Factory Planning to Production Ramp-up」
YIZUMI provided engineering support throughout the implementation process. During factory planning, YIZUMI engineers assisted with machine layout and production flow planning to improve space utilization and production efficiency.
During commissioning, experienced process engineers from YIZUMI headquarters worked with AURORA's local team to optimize two-shot molding processes, including weld line control and bonding line positioning. Process parameters were transferred and validated on site to achieve the same production standards as the Dongguan plant. As a result, AURORA shortened the production ramp-up period and achieved product quality consistent with its operations in China. Mr. Yang Jing, General Manager, AURORA Vietnam, said:
"YIZUMI helped us establish the same production rhythm in Vietnam that we had in Dongguan. This gave us greater confidence during the expansion process."

04.「Localized Service Support」
After production started, localized technical support became an important part of daily operations.

In February 2026, a key injection molding machine at Aurora's Vietnam plant experienced an unexpected failure on a Saturday evening. AURORA immediately contacted YIZUMI for emergency service support. From remote diagnosis and spare parts preparation to on-site repair, the machine resumed normal production within six to seven hours, without affecting the production schedule.

YIZUMI established its wholly owned subsidiary in Vietnam in 2018 and now operates four service offices in Bac Ninh Province, Hai Phong City, Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh Province. Supported by a one-hour response mechanism, local technical support and operator training, the service network helps minimize unplanned downtime and maintain a high level of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) for customers.

AURORA currently operates 28 YIZUMI injection molding machines in Vietnam, producing components for robotic vacuum cleaners, lawn care equipment, smart home products and audio devices.
05.「Continuing the Partnership」
AURORA plans to introduce a larger-tonnage injection molding machine in the second half of 2026 to support production of structural components for security and broadband applications.
The decision reflects the company's long-term cooperation with YIZUMI in China, as well as the experience gained during the Vietnam expansion project. The partnership now covers equipment supply, process support and localized service for overseas manufacturing.
