As integrated casting enters mass production and semi-solid processing expands material possibilities, the die casting industry is undergoing a profound transformation. For Dr. Zhou Jun, Director and CTO of YIZUMI, and General Manager of YIZUMI Die Casting Machine Division, the competition is no longer about individual technologies, but about the fundamental capabilities of equipment manufacturers.
Over the past year, YIZUMI has shifted its strategic focus from scale expansion to technological depth, from product delivery to systematic execution, and from reactive correction to proactive prevention—all aimed at delivering certainty through a measurable and scalable system.
The Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered LEAP Series and the Thixomolding and Al Rheocasting solutions, to be unveiled at CHINA DIECASTING 2026, are built on an integrated technology framework spanning products, platforms, and core technologies. The result is more than a machine—it's a complete solution for reliable, sustainable production.
Building a Stronger Technology Foundation
In 2025, YIZUMI's die casting machine business generated revenue of CNY 1.189 billion, up 33.06% year on year. LEAP Series die casting machines entered the supply chains of leading manufacturers such as GF Romania and Atleams India, while YIZUMI expanded its ultra-large die casting machine portfolio to include 7,000T, 9,000T, and 10,000T models, serving customers including Guangdong Hongtu, FAW Foundry, and Changan Automobile.
But for Dr. Zhou, the real transformation goes beyond the numbers. “In the past, we focused on scale and import substitution. Today, we must focus on depth and setting industry standards.”
This shift reflects the rapid evolution of the industry. As integrated die casting enters mass production, higher requirements are being placed on clamping force, injection precision, and stability. Meanwhile, semi-solid processing is expanding from magnesium to aluminum alloys, opening new possibilities for lightweight applications in low-altitude mobility and 3C electronics.
Customers expect more than a machine—they need stability, lower trial-and-error costs, and responsive global support.
“A die casting machine is ultimately a tool for creating customer value,” said Dr. Zhou. “Our mission is to help every die casting process achieve its best possible performance on the customer's production line.”
In 2025, YIZUMI established an integrated product-platform-technology framework, advancing its transformation from an equipment manufacturer to a provider of integrated solutions. The impact was clear: overall operational efficiency increased by 15.6%, on-time project delivery reached 94.1%, and in-warranty equipment failures at customer sites fell by 28% year on year.
Turning Experience into Shared Capability
In 2026, YIZUMI's most significant transformation is not in the machine itself, but in the system that supports its entire lifecycle. Dr. Zhou describes it as an "advanced product management system."
"In the past, success depended on individual expertise. In the future, it must be driven by a robust system," Dr. Zhou said. “Individual expertise has its limits. A strong system turns experience into organizational capability, making success repeatable and problems predictable.”
A key element of this system is the Super BOM product architecture, which modularizes core units such as the locking, injection, hydraulic, and control systems, allowing machines to be configured to different die and process requirements. YIZUMI is also developing an intelligent configurator for complete die casting cells to enable faster quotation, automated order processing, and more efficient delivery.
At the product level, the LEAP and HⅡ Series now offer a complete product lineup, with models such as the NEXT²4400 and UN3200MGⅡ already validated in customer production and ready for stable mass production. In 2026, the NEXT² Series two-platen die casting machines will be launched globally, with the MPP process applied to ensure product quality for international markets.
On the commercial side, YIZUMI aims to increase the share of key accounts to over 50%. Supporting this goal is a closely integrated operating model that brings together marketing, sales, service, and technical support. By breaking down organizational silos and strengthening cross-functional collaboration, the company aims to expand both the scale and quality of its key account business. "We need to eliminate recurring issues and move from individual efforts to standardized teamwork," Dr. Zhou said.
Preventing Problems Before They Occur
For YIZUMI, globalization doesn't end with delivery. It depends on building strong local capabilities. This is what YIZUMI calls “deep global engagement.”
In quality, Dr. Zhou has set even higher targets for 2026: to significantly reduce in-warranty equipment failures at customer sites and improve product reliability, with MTBF increasing by at least 10% year on year.
“A single flash defect, uneven spray coating, or injection fluctuation can result in an entire casting being scrapped. Quality is not achieved through inspection, but through prevention,” Dr. Zhou said. YIZUMI is building a preventive quality management system by strengthening supplier quality management and implementing 8D closed-loop processes across design, incoming materials, manufacturing, and the market. The focus is not only on solving problems, but on preventing them. “We don't just solve problems—we prevent them.”
Driving the Next Breakthrough
“Our priorities for 2026 are clear: focus, standardize, and iterate,” Dr. Zhou concluded. “Focus on what matters. Turn proven practices into standards. Then keep improving through iteration. Progress comes step by step, and every iteration prepares us for the next breakthrough.”

The upcoming CHINA DIECASTING 2026 this July will be an opportunity to see this strategy in action. The Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered LEAP Series and YIZUMI MGⅡ·Plus Thixomolding and RHEO Series Rheocasting machines are more than product showcases—they reflect the company's transformation from equipment delivery to integrated capability.
While the industry pursues the next breakthrough, YIZUMI remains focused on building the capabilities that deliver lasting value—helping customers achieve reliable, predictable production.
