YIZUMI Showcases at Kenya, Strengthening Its Presence in Africa

On July 13 (local time), the three-day COMPLAST Kenya opens at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, with YIZUMI participating as an exhibitor.

As one of the most influential plastics industry exhibitions in East Africa, COMPLAST Kenya is supported by Kenya’s industrial authorities and showcases technologies, equipment, and products across the entire plastics value chain. The exhibition brings together manufacturers, buyers, and research institutions from around the world, serving as a key platform for business networking and industry exchange.

Leveraging Nairobi’s strategic position as a regional trade hub, the exhibition also provides an important gateway for Chinese companies to expand into the Kenyan and broader East African markets through technology exchange, commercial cooperation, and local partnerships.

Kenya’s plastics industry is experiencing rapid growth, with packaging accounting for around 60% of total market demand. Strong demand for PET bottles, HDPE containers, daily chemical packaging, courier bags, logistics crates, and waste bins continues to drive market expansion. Supported by the East African Community’s duty-free trade framework, Kenya is also strengthening its position as a gateway to the East African and broader North African markets.

Designed for the production of heavy-duty pallets, large logistics crates, and other logistics products, the project demonstrates YIZUMI’s growing capabilities in the ultra-large injection molding segment and provides a strong reference case for future deployments of large-tonnage equipment across Africa.
